Limits move. OpenAI says model availability and usage limits can change. This comparison therefore records durable plan boundaries and the check date, not a message number that can become wrong tomorrow.

What would Plus cost in your workflow?
Only you supply the time-saving assumption. Set it to zero unless you have observed a repeatable difference on your own tasks. “Tasks needing paid access” can mean a higher-limit workflow or a feature your Free account cannot complete when tested.

- Run the tasks on Free first. Record completion, limits encountered, elapsed active time and what required correction.

- Upgrade only if you choose to. Repeat the same inputs and acceptance criteria; do not silently improve the prompt.
- Keep answer quality separate from access. A completed task can still be wrong, and a rate limit is not an accuracy result.
